CV for Roger Whiteley

Roger Whiteley was one of the founding Directors of Xi Data Systems when it was first formed in 1981. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Bristol University and later with a Masters degree in Business from Cornell University in the USA. After 6 years in banking in the City of London he returned to Yorkshire which was when Xi Data Systems was formed. He was Deputy Managing and Financial Director for the business

As well as being closely involved with the development of the Feedback software and its implementation on customer sites, he looked after the company’s accounting customers. The company was a dealer for the financial software produced by Holland Automation International BV, and the Feedback system, written in the HAI BV’s proprietary language, was closely integrated with it.

He left Xi Data in 1991 and for 10 years worked directly for Holland Automation, looking after the UK customers of their Hai*Europ financial software, initially directly for the Dutch company, and then for Holland Automation International (UK) Ltd when it was formed in 1993.
